Description
Garlic scapes are the edible and delicious flowering stalk of a hardneck garlic plant. We remove the scapes from the plants in early June. Removing the scape diverts more energy to the underground bulb to produce larger garlic bulbs in July. We use scapes just like we would garlic bulbs, but the scapes have a milder garlic flavor, so use more.
Each bundle has approximately 12-15 scapes.
